Courtesy

Let us uphold honor in our interactions with one another, for it is through this virtue that we may earnestly engage with the divine. Courtesy, akin to chivalry, grants us the ability to extend politeness and gentleness towards others, forming the bedrock of meaningful relationships—with both others and oneself. Without the presence of courtesy within, one cannot extend gentleness to oneself, thus hindering their ability to do so with others. A deficiency in courtesy erects barriers that serve to isolate rather than connect.
